You’ve taken a driver’s ed course from ADA’s accredited driving school. Now it’s time for the written exam. Even if you didn’t take our course, we still offer permit tests to the general public. Finding a permit testing location shouldn’t be a hassle, so we have several locations throughout Denver, Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. With so many convenient locations in Colorado, you won’t have trouble finding a place to take your permit test.
We offer permit testing at two of our four Denver locations. Our Montbello and South-West Denver sites have scheduled permit testing Monday through Friday. Please give us a call to book your permit test appointment. Montbello tests cost $40 and South-West Denver costs only $10 as part of our testing promotion. Re-tests are $20.
Residents east of Denver can visit our Aurora location for permit testing. We offer permit testing on weekends (by appointment only), and you can take the permit test twice a day. First-time tests are $40, and re-tests are $20. We offer both English and Spanish tests, and you will get personalised feedback after the test.
Permit testing is provided at one of our three Colorado Springs locations. Our location in front of the DMV offers permit testing every weekend! Our Colorado Springs permit tests cost $30, and re-tests cost $20.

Beginning January 1, 2027, Colorado's 2027 driver's ed law will require all aspiring drivers under 21 to complete driver's education before getting a permit. Ages 15–17 will need a 30-hour course; ages 18–20 will need either the 30-hour course or a 4-hour driver awareness course.

If you are new to Colorado or you don’t have driving experience, we offer driving lessons 7 days a week. These are 2-hour lessons with state-certified, patient, and friendly instructors.
