For most families, the best location is the one closest to where the student will attend the in-person classroom course. Every location offers the same classroom course, driving lessons, and testing. Pick the city that is most convenient; you will see its full options and pricing on its page.
This page is for in-person classroom driver's ed packages. If your student would rather complete the 30-hour course online, American Driving Academy also offers online driver's ed packages.
Online packages may be a better fit for students who want a self-paced course, need more flexibility, or prefer to complete the classroom portion from home before moving on to permit testing and driving lessons.
Every location runs the same 30-hour classroom course and gives the permit test in the office. Patient, friendly instructors then take your student through their driving lessons and the drive test. A few cities add Driver Skills Day, defensive training that keeps the learning going after your student is licensed. Whichever office you pick, the same statewide network stands behind it.

Your teen can begin the 30-hour class at 14 years and 6 months. Starting around then leaves time to finish the class, take the permit test at 14 years and 11 months, and pick up the permit on the 15th birthday or later.
Beginning January 1, 2027, HB24-1021 requires first-time permit applicants ages 15 through 17 to complete a 30-hour driver education course, and the class on this page satisfies it. Driving lessons are a separate requirement: six hours with an approved driving school are generally required for a teen who plans to be licensed before age 16½.

If you are new to Colorado or you don’t have driving experience, we offer driving lessons 7 days a week. These are 2-hour lessons with state-certified, patient, and friendly instructors.
You are required to pass the driver's license test in order to get your driver's license. After passing, you may be eligible to get your license that same day without even having to visit the DMV.
